Who we are
PaceOn is run by [company or person name, address]. You can reach us about your data at [contact email].
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, main sport, and your password stored only as a one-way hash.
- Your training: the answers you give when building a plan (recent running, experience, race results, available days and hours), your plans, sessions marked done or missed, and session feedback (effort, pain, fatigue).
- Health-related data: symptoms you report in the plan's safety questions, fitness test results including heart rate, and body weight in fuel plans.
- Garmin data, only if you connect Garmin: activities with laps and heart rate, daily summaries, sleep, heart-rate variability, stress, body battery, training load and readiness, personal records and profile details such as weight. We keep Garmin's access token, never your Garmin password.
- Saved items: races you save and fuel plans you create.
Why we use it
Only to provide PaceOn: building and adapting your training plan, setting paces and heart-rate zones, planning fuel, and sending your workouts to your watch. Data about your health is used on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you create an account. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data to train AI models.
Emails
We email you only about your account: confirming your address, resetting your password, and security notices such as a password or email change.
Cookies and storage
One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores an unsaved plan draft so you don't lose it. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes it for us
Your data is stored and handled by the providers that run PaceOn: [hosting provider], [database provider] and [email provider], in [region]. Garmin data comes from Garmin Connect when you connect it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account in Profile → Sign-in & security, everything listed above is deleted immediately from our database. Backups are removed within [number] days.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in the app, disconnect Garmin at any time, and delete your account and all its data yourself. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or ask a question at [contact email]. If you're in the EU or UK you can complain to your data protection authority.
Not medical advice
PaceOn gives training guidance, not medical advice. See the terms.
